In 1986 our founding directors, Ken & Margaret McNamara started a furniture manufacturing business in Shepparton, Victoria, with the emphasis being on quality, service and value for money. Shortly after a retail store was opened and things grew rapidly from there. Today the McNamara’s have a number of business interests however their main involvement is concerned with running one of the largest pine furniture stores in country Victoria.

The internet seemed like the obvious way to expand so after the huge task of putting this site together the business of pinedesign.com.au was opened with an enormous range of quality furniture from selected Australian manufacturers and Importers. Only those businesses which reached superior standards of quality and service were included.

Soon furniture stores across Australia contacted pinedesign.com.au and wanted to set up similar sites, thus the furniture group of onlinefurniture.com.au came about.

onlinefurniture.com.au comprises of a group of independently owned furniture stores all of whom have the same ideal as Pine Design, which is to provide a superior range of quality furniture at Australia's best prices with exceptional service.

Today we cater for all types of tastes in furniture and are continually striving to improve the site.

Ebanctrade was another aspect of the business which took off as soon as it was launched. Unfortunatley due to the extremely high demand for our product it soon became necessary to provide goods on a continual supply basis so that we did not have to continually turn away each day all of the bartercard enquiries.

This site has been specially set up with all the products that we have available to members.
